Job Description
The Body Shop Estimator is responsible for inspecting vehicle damage, preparing accurate repair estimates, and coordinating repair processes with insurance companies and customers. This role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to manage DRP relationships effectively while maintaining excellent customer communication.
Key responsibilities include:
- Write accurate and detailed collision repair estimates
- Manage DRP (Direct Repair Program) accounts and ensure compliance requirements are met
- Communicate with insurance adjusters, customers, and technicians throughout the repair process
- Ensure estimates align with OEM repair procedures and industry standards
- Monitor repair progress and update estimates as needed
- Maintain workflow efficiency from vehicle intake to final delivery
