JD for Appian Developer Designation: Appian Developer Experience: 3 – 7 Years Primary Skills: Appian (SAIL, BPM), Integrations, Database (SQL) Appian certifications: Senior/Lead Developer Role Summary We are looking for an experienced Senior Appian Developer with Senior/Lead Developer certifications to design, build, and support scalable low-code applications using the Appian platform. The role involves translating client requirements into robust process models and user experiences, delivering high-quality configured solutions/code, and working closely with cross-functional teams to meet project objectives. Strong database fundamentals and hands-on SQL skills are required. Key Responsibilities • Responsible to understand and build study/solution as per client requirements. • Contribute to delivery of high-quality configured system or code using Appian best practices. • Design and develop Appian objects including SAIL interfaces, process models, records, reports, rules, and data stores/record types. • Build and maintain integrations with external systems using REST/SOAP, web services, and database connectors (JDBC). • Gain and apply strong troubleshooting and problem-solving techniques; perform root-cause analysis and fix defects. • Maintain compliance to training, documentation, policies, procedures, and quality standards. • Responsible for required documentation as per the laid SOPs (design notes, technical specs, test evidence, release notes).
