Job Summary:

The Branch Operations Manager will coordinate efforts of Sales, Service, Materials and Office Administrative departments. They will recruit, develop and train team leaders and team members to serve customers in their various markets with solutions that make Rogers the top provider in the area. They will coach lean methodology and facility management.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Develop operation plan to support market growth and maximize potential.
  • Create a collaborative sales, materials, service, and administration leadership team to develop and implement strategies to execute plans.
  • Conduct team meetings and 1:1 coaching session to coordinate effort, coach and develop staff capabilities.
  • Assist department leaders and team members’ efforts to execute projects by applying internal and external resources.
  • Define safety objectives, communicate them consistently, and hold teams accountable for meeting them

Additional Job Duties:

  • Interact with Corporate personnel on branch behalf and report to branch personnel on sales opportunities.
  • Recruit and train new team members.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in a B2B sales, service, operations, distribution, field service, manufacturing, construction, equipment, or similar environment, including leadership of cross-functional teams.
  • Proven ability to hire, coach, develop, and hold leaders and team members accountable for performance, safety, and customer service.
  • Strong business and commercial acumen, with experience using goals, budgets, forecasts, KPIs, and customer data to guide decisions and drive profitable growth.
  • Customer-focused problem solver with the ability and curiosity to quickly learn technical products, services, and applications; compressed air industry experience is not required.
  • Experience improving processes and operational performance using continuous improvement, Lean, or similar problem-solving methods.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and technology skills, including Microsoft Office/Microsoft 365 and the ability to learn CRM, ERP, and related business systems.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience leading a branch, service center, business unit, or regional operation with responsibility for both commercial and operational results.
  • Background in an industrial, technical, equipment, distribution, field service, HVAC, electrical/mechanical, construction, automation, rental, or similar B2B environment.
  • Experience with P&L management, budgeting, forecasting, sales pipeline management, and/or performance metrics.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant leadership experience.

Physical Demands:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Environmental Working Conditions: will visit customer sites to perform audits and evaluations, present proposals, and/or customer training.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.

      • $120,000 - $140,000 annually
