Brand Manager - Gatorade
Overview The Brand Manager will be responsible for leading the Gatorade brand in Korea — delivering sustainable growth, profitable share gain, and long-term equity in the sports drink category. It’s an exciting time to join the Gatorade team in Korea as we have a clear growth mandate. This role will own that agenda end-to-end, from innovation and platform development to in-market execution with our bottling partner. Responsibilities What you will need to do: Innovation Strategy & Launch Leadership Shape the innovation strategy around emerging consumer needs and health & wellness trends — reading where the category is moving and converting it into a pipeline with clear consumer rationale. Lead the innovation agenda for the Gatorade trademark — from concept development through launch and post-launch evaluation. Own launch delivery with disciplined project management and cross-functional alignment (R&D, Sales, Shopper, Category, Supply Chain, Finance, Regulatory). Brand Strategy & Equity Building Identify consumer, occasion, and market insights to define growth strategies, with focus on expanding relevance beyond the current core consumer base. Deliver AOP targets for volume, share, revenue, and profit while building brand equity for the long term. Own the trademark campaign end-to-end — communications strategy, creative development, media, and agency delivery — translating the global brand platform into a Korea-relevant proposition that strengthens equity and performance hydration credibility. Build occasion-based platforms around real sport and sweat moments, and lead ambassador, sampling, event, and community programs that earn credibility with sports and running communities. Bottler Relationship & Commercial Alignment Act as a key brand liaison with Bottler (Lotte Chilsung) to build trust, transparency, and joint accountability. Align brand priorities with Bottler and Sales to drive distribution, availability, and visibility across CVS, Hyper/Super, eCommerce, and AFH. Track and report brand performance, budgets, and ROI, with proactive identification of risks and opportunities. Qualifications What you will need to have: Bachelor’s degree (Marketing, Business, or related field preferred) 5+ years’ experience in brand management or marketing, preferably in FMCG or beverage industry Demonstrated experience leading product launches or innovation projects end-to-end Proven track record of managing campaigns, brand activations, and cross-functional projects Strong analytical capability — able to turn retail measurement, brand health, and consumer research data into clear commercial decisions
