Build and Release Engineer - Devops
Location: Bengaluru,Karnataka,India
- Will manage Releases of Company products onto staging and production servers in distributed environments.
- Will develop automated build and deployment scripts.
- 2-5 years of experience in Build and Release Management with emphasis on process and tools.
- Has working knowledge of one or more Version Control systems like CVS,Subversion,Perforce,ClearCase. Admin experience of any of these tools a definite plus.
- Good Knowledge of scripting in a Unix environment (Shell, Perl, Python).
- Good Knowledge of Build Scripting in ANT/Make.
- Good knowledge of Release Processes (Patch, Hotfixes, Staged Releases etc)
- User level knowledge of SQL script/statements execution.
- Must be comfortable in a Unix environment.
- Good oral and written communication skills, and excellent analytical skills
