ROLE OVERVIEW:
The Bulk Cement Tanker Driver safely transports, loads, and unloads bulk cement while conducting thorough vehicle inspections, maintaining equipment, and utilizing truck tracking software to ensure efficient operations.
DUTIES AND/OR RESPONSIBILITIES (summary of components that make up the job)
- Perform accurate daily pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections to identify and correct any unsafe conditions and keep equipment properly maintained.
- Properly load and unload material.
- Ensure proper use of truck tracking software.
- Work with central dispatch and plant supervisor for daily schedule.
- Ensure OSHA, DOT, EPA, MSHA, Federal, State, and Local safety and environmental regulation compliance including attending safety and required training.
- Available to work as needed, overtime, nights, and weekends.
- Regular attendance required.
- Always work safely and take action to prevent any and all unsafe actions, processes, and behaviors.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (minimum educational, experience, or other relevant job requirements)
- Must have a CDL Class A (tractor-trailer) license with tanker endorsement.
- Must be able to maintain proper licensure, medical card and acceptable driving record.
- Must be self-motivated, team-player with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain positive customer relations and act courteous and respectful toward others.
- Bulk truck driving experience, preferred.
