  • Manage shift coverage, headcount allocation and workforce planning to meet 24/7 production demands
  • Own daily output targets - manage line loading, operator allocation and WIP flow to hit volume commitments
  • Oversee production scheduling and capacity utilization to meet customer commit dates
  • Drive cycle time reduction - identify bottlenecks and eliminate non-value-add steps
  • Manage direct labor cost and consumables within budget without compromising output or quality
  • Manage shift handovers, short-interval controls and escalations - keep the line moving and issues resolved fast
  • Lead structured production improvement projects - set targets, measure results and sustain the gains
  • Drive automation initiatives - work with Manufacturing and Engineering to implement solutions for manual and repetitive processes
  • Apply Lean and 5S methodologies to deliver measurable, sustained improvements in output and cost
  • Partner with Quality and Safety team to maintain audit readiness, drive a zero-defect mindset and a safe and compliance manufacturing environment
  • Partner with HR on performance management, talent development and employee engagement

Minimum requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management or a related field
  • Cumulative > 3.3 CGPA and above
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in semiconductor or electronics manufacturing, with at least 2-3 years directly managing operators and production teams

Preferred qualifications:

  • Solid understanding of manufacturing operations - OEE, UPH, cycle time, yield, scrap, cost metrics
  • Ability to establish strong relationships with key stakeholders critical to success, both internally and externally
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to quickly ramp on new systems and processes
  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
