About the role (Contract 6 Months)

We are looking for a Business Analyst (BA) to join our project team in developing a Vendor Management and Procurement System for a large enterprise client in the energy sector / state enterprise. This is a large-scale implementation project currently in the SIT/UAT phase and preparing for go-live. The position is responsible for business analysis, preparing Functional Specification documents, and supporting system testing (SIT/UAT) in collaboration with the project's Team Lead and Business Analysts.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and define Business Requirements from client units and translate them into Functional Specifications (FSpec) for system screens and workflows in the Vendor Management and Procurement System.

• Prepare To-Be Process documents, Use Case Diagrams, and UX/UI mockups aligned with actual system screens and compliant with the client's standard templates.

• Support the design and collection of Test Scenarios / Test Cases for SIT/UAT in collaboration with the Functional/Technical team.

• Coordinate with key client users, Team Leads, and Business Analysts to confirm requirements and designs prior to handoff to Development.

• Manage the UAT Issue Log and assist in classifying and analyzing root causes of issues identified during testing.

• Attend project team meetings and client meetings, and prepare Minutes of Meeting (MOM) according to the client's corporate format.

• Work closely with a cross-functional team comprising Business Analysts, Technical/Developer staff, and Project Managers.

• Support go-live readiness activities and post-go-live support / system handoff.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Accounting/Finance, Engineering, or a related field.

• 3–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role within medium-to-large system development projects.

• Proven experience writing Functional Specifications, Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), or software design documentation.

• Prior experience with large state enterprises or energy/public utility projects is a strong plus.

• Systematic requirement gathering and Functional Specification writing.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with client executives/units.

• Logical analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

• Understanding of enterprise workflows and the ability to elicit requirements from multi-departmental teams.

• Time management and handling multiple deliverables simultaneously.
