Role –Business Analyst – DevSecOps

Location –Sydney/Melbourne, Australia

Duration:- Contract

We are looking for a Business Analyst with DevSecOps experience to work with business, security, development and infrastructure teams to support secure software delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather and document business and technical requirements for DevSecOps initiatives.

• Work with development, DevOps, security and infrastructure teams.

• Analyse and document CI/CD pipelines, security controls and deployment processes.

• Support integration of security practices into the SDLC.

• Prepare BRD, functional requirements, process flows and user stories.

• Coordinate SIT/UAT, defect tracking and business validation.

• Identify process improvements, risks, dependencies and security requirements.

• Track project activities, issues and deliverables across multiple teams.

• Communicate with stakeholders and provide regular project/status updates.

Required Skills:

• Experience as a Business Analyst in DevSecOps / DevOps environments.

• Good understanding of CI/CD, SDLC, Agile and cloud environments.

• Knowledge of security concepts such as SAST, DAST, SCA, vulnerability management and security testing.

• Familiarity with tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, SonarQube or similar.

• Strong requirements gathering, documentation and stakeholder management skills.

• Experience working with development, DevOps and cybersecurity teams.
