Business Analyst
Summary
Six-month contract Business Analyst role in Dublin 2, placed onsite at a large global client via recruitment firm Elwood Roberts. Day to day: gathering and documenting business requirements, analysing processes, writing functional specs, and producing data analysis and reports using SQL, Excel, PowerPoint and visualization tools.

Typically, your job duties will include:
- Gather and document business requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and research
- Analyse current business processes and systems to identify areas for improvement
- Create detailed functional specifications for proposed solutions
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure proper implementation of new systems and processes
- Perform data analysis and create reports to support decision-making
- Monitor and report on the progress of projects and initiatives
We are looking for people with the below qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in a similar role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile)
- Proficiency with SQL and data visualization tools like Quicksite
