Job Title: Business Analyst

Salary: £34,320 - £42,000 per annum

Hours per week: 35 (flexible working options considered in line with business needs)

You’ll be required to work from our head office in Wigston, Leicester a minimum of 2 days per week. The remainder of your working hours will be undertaken from home.

In this role, you will act as the key link between business stakeholders, project teams, and external partners, ensuring business needs are understood and translated into clear, actionable requirements. Working across multiple business functions, you will lead business requirements discovery activities, facilitating stakeholder engagement to identify, analyse, prioritise, and document business needs. You will develop and maintain comprehensive requirements catalogues that support informed decision-making, business process improvement, solution evaluation, and successful project delivery. Clear communication is essential as you will produce high-quality documentation and present these findings and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels, and build consensus across teams to support successful business change initiatives.

What you'll bring

You will be an experienced Business Analyst with a strong track record of working with diverse stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into well-defined requirements. You will bring experience of requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation and management. You will have exceptional communication skills enabling you to facilitate workshops, interviews and stakeholder discussions to help understand and identify business needs and priorities across multiple business functions. You will be confident using these needs to analyse and develop business requirements catalogue, and have experience supporting business change. You will have strong stakeholder management skills enabling you to engage and influence colleagues at all levels, and work collaboratively across different teams across the business.

Essential criteria

· Proven experience working in a Business Analyst or Systems Analyst role.

· Proven experience producing, analysing, documenting, and managing business requirements across multiple business functions.

· Experience of business process mapping, analysis, and process improvement.

· Proven experience in developing, analysing, and producing business requirements across multiple business functions.
