Business Analyst Odoo

Introduction & Summary

As part of the ongoing evolution of its Odoo environment, we are seeking a business-oriented Business Analyst to strengthen the team. The organization has recently completed a migration from Odoo v14 to v19, and the solution is currently in a post-go-live phase, requiring several enhancements, optimizations, and improvements. The Business Analyst will serve as the interface between internal business teams and the technical partner responsible for the technical implementation of the solution, aiming to understand stakeholder needs and translate them into clear functional requirements for implementation in Odoo.

Main Responsibilities

As an Odoo Business Analyst, you will be responsible for:

• Gathering, understanding, and analyzing requirements from various business teams.

• Challenging requests to identify actual business needs and propose relevant improvements.

• Translating business needs into clear requirements and functional analyses.

• Acting as the bridge between internal stakeholders and the technical partner.

• Preparing and refining requirements before handing them over to the implementation team.

• Collaborating with the Product Owner on backlog preparation, organization, and follow-up.

• Contributing to the evolution and optimization of the Odoo environment.

• Identifying opportunities for process improvement and automation.

• Participating in functional testing, including scenario preparation, validation of developments, defect follow-up, and coordination with relevant teams.

• Supporting users and stakeholders throughout the post-go-live phase.

Key Requirements

• Around 4–5 years of experience in Business Analysis.
• Significant experience working on Odoo projects.
• A strongly business-oriented profile, rather than purely technical.
• Good understanding of business processes and ability to translate them into functional requirements.
• Experience in ERP and/or CRM environments.
• Experience with functional testing / UAT.
• Ability to collaborate with and challenge an external technical implementation partner.
• Strong communication skills with both business and technical stakeholders.
• Proactive, autonomous, and able to take initiative.
• Pragmatic and quick-minded, with the ability to ask the right questions and drive topics forward independently.

Nice to Have

• Experience in CRM, Sales, Accounting, Logistics, Planning, Inventory, and Shop/eCommerce areas.
