Salary: $550 a day + super

Digital Business Analyst (Temporary) Leave Cover

Location: Sydney (2 days WFH)

Duration: ASAP Start until early April 2027

Rate: $550 + super per day

We’re working with a well-established organisation gearing up for a number of key digital transformation initiatives and looking to bring on an experienced Business Analyst to cover parental leave.

This is a great opportunity to step into a busy, stakeholder-heavy environment where you’ll play a central role across several high-impact projects.

The Role

You’ll be embedded within a collaborative delivery team and will contribute across multiple initiatives, including:

• MFA authentication upgrade

• Payments platform replacement

• Events platform replacement

This role will suit a well-rounded BA comfortable working across the full delivery lifecycle and working closely with the Project Manager — from discovery through to implementation and change.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation

• Develop clear user stories and acceptance criteria

• Map and analyse current and future-state processes

• Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders (IT, Finance, Sales, Change teams, etc.)

• Support digital transformation initiatives across multiple projects

• Contribute to change management activities, including training support

• Facilitate workshops and ensure alignment across large stakeholder groups

• Operate effectively within an agile delivery environment

About You

We’re looking for a solid mid-level BA who can confidently operate across business and technology teams. You’ll bring:

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst on larger-scale, cross-functional projects

• Strong documentation skills (BRDs, user stories, process maps)

• Experience in process mapping and requirement definition

• Exposure to digital transformation programs

• Confidence working in agile environments

• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills

• Experience supporting change management and/or training delivery (highly regarded)

• Exposure to payments platforms or events platforms (desirable)

• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset

• Ability to join a project and hit the ground running
