We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join a leading financial services organisation in Sydney on a contract basis. This role will play a key part in delivering cross-functional transformation initiatives working closely with business and technology teams in a fast-paced Agile environment.
You will be responsible for driving end-to-end technical and business analysis, with a strong focus on process mapping, user story development, and stakeholder engagement across complex, enterprise-wide programs.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end business analysis activities ensuring alignment between business needs and technical delivery
- Facilitate workshops with cross-functional stakeholders including technical teams
- Develop high-quality user stories, epics, and user acceptance criteria, ensuring readiness for Agile delivery
- Partner with Product Owners, SMEs, and delivery teams to support backlog refinement and sprint planning
- Translate complex business requirements into clear functional and non-functional specifications
- Support system implementations and enhancements
- Collaborate with testing teams to define test scenarios, support UAT
- Contribute to change impact assessments, business readiness, and stakeholder engagement activities
- Drive continuous improvement across processes, tools, and delivery practices
- 8+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst, with proven experience operating at a senior level
- Extensive experience writing user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria in Agile environments
- Proven ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders across business and technology teams
- Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban) with a solid understanding of delivery lifecycles
- Excellent communication skills
