Business Analyst
Summary
The Business Analyst will manage the end-to-end tender and proposal process, translating technical and business requirements into compliant documentation for IT projects. The role requires 2-4 years of experience in proposal writing and proficiency in tools like Microsoft Office and Notion.
Polygon Technology is looking for a Business Analyst with strong experience in IT Tender and Proposal Documentation. This role is ideal for professionals with 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in preparing technical and financial proposals, responding to RFPs, RFQs, EOIs, and structuring detailed documentation for public and private sector projects.
The ideal candidate should be analytical, detail-oriented, and capable of translating business and technical requirements into well-structured, compliant, and compelling tender submissions. You will work closely with Sales, Technical, Product, and Management teams to develop high-quality proposals aligned with client expectations and organizational strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare end-to-end tender and proposal documentation, including RFP, RFQ, EOI responses, technical proposals, and financial submissions.
Analyze tender requirements, eligibility criteria, evaluation criteria, and compliance requirements to ensure accurate and complete responses.
Develop structured documents such as technical proposals, financial proposals, methodology documents, implementation plans, SOWs, project plans, and compliance matrices.
Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Solution Architecture, and Sales teams to gather technical inputs and solution details.
Translate business and technical requirements into clear and structured proposal content.
Conduct market and competitor research to align proposals with industry standards and competitive positioning.
Maintain and continuously improve a repository of proposal templates, case studies, technical write-ups, company credentials, and reusable content.
Track tender and proposal submission timelines, coordinate internal reviews and approvals, and ensure timely submission.
Support client presentations, clarification sessions, and responses during the bid evaluation process.
Review final proposal documents for accuracy, consistency, formatting, compliance, and overall quality before submission.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Administration, or a related field.
2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in Tender Management, Proposal Writing, Business Analysis, or a similar role within an IT or technology company.
Strong understanding of government, enterprise, and corporate IT tender processes.
Proven experience in preparing technical documentation, including SOW, compliance sheets, project plans, solution briefs, and implementation approaches.
Ability to understand and structure technical concepts such as software development, APIs, cloud, cybersecurity, digital transformation, and IT solutions.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Bengali.
Strong analytical, research, documentation, and organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, spreadsheets, presentation tools, and documentation platforms such as Notion.
Ability to manage multiple proposals and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
