Business Analyst — SAP TMS
Summary
A six-month contract Business Analyst role in Melbourne running requirements discovery for a two-year programme migrating transport operations from SAP TM to Blue Yonder TMS. Day to day involves eliciting and documenting detailed requirements with business units and working alongside in-house Blue Yonder functional analysts.
Our client is one of Australia's most recognised enterprises, with a long track record of bringing in specialist contractors for major programmes. They have an immediate need for a Business Analyst, based in Melbourne, on a six month contract starting mid November.
The role
You will run requirements discovery for a two-year programme moving transport operations from SAP TM onto Blue Yonder TMS. Blue Yonder is already live, so the work is making sure every current business requirement fits the new system and nothing is missed.
Firm up the existing high-level requirements across around six projects
Walk through work processes with business units and their customers
Document detailed requirements ready for the solution team
Work closely with in-house Blue Yonder functional analysts and solution leads
This is requirements and process work, not configuration. The engagement flexes with project readiness, so some weeks are full-on and others lighter.
What you'll need to succeed;
Solid BA experience on transport or logistics systems projects
SAP TM knowledge across freight orders, planning, carrier tendering and settlement
Blue Yonder or JDA TMS experience, advantageous
Proven requirements elicitation and process mapping with operational stakeholders
Comfortable working with functional analysts on system detail
Able to run discovery across several projects at once
3PL or multi-client logistics experience, advantageous
