We're seeking an experienced Business Analyst & Systems Specialist (BASS) to join our Finance team on a 12-month parental leave contract. Reporting to the Financial Planning & Analysis Manager, you'll play a key role in supporting and enhancing our SAP finance environment while partnering with Finance, ICT, and business stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions.

This is a varied role that combines SAP functional expertise, business analysis, financial process improvement, and reporting. You'll help optimise systems and processes, support business transformation initiatives, and deliver insights that enable better business decision-making across a global organisation.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Support, maintain, and continuously improve SAP financial systems.

  • Gather, analyse, and document business requirements and translate them into effective solutions.

  • Contribute to SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud implementations, upgrades, and enhancements.

  • Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes, improve efficiency, and reduce costs.

  • Develop business cases, functional specifications, and process documentation.

  • Analyse financial and operational data to deliver meaningful business insights.

  • Design and maintain reporting solutions using SAP and business intelligence tools.

  • Support user adoption through training, testing and stakeholder engagement.

You are an experienced Business Analyst with strong SAP Finance knowledge and a proven ability to bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions. You're comfortable working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and thrive in environments focused on continuous improvement and change.

With a curious mindset and strong analytical skills, you're able to simplify complex information, identify opportunities for improvement, and deliver practical solutions that create real business value.

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Have S/4HANA FICO functional expertise

  • Previous Business Analyst experience within an ICT or technology-enabled environment.

  • Experience defining, documenting, and implementing business and system requirements.

  • Strong process improvement and problem-solving capabilities.

  • Proven experience supporting or delivering finance systems projects.

  • Ability to analyse complex financial and operational data.

  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and facilitation skills.
