Business Analyst
We are a fast-growing Payment Service Provider (PSP) working in the high-risk fintech segment.
Right now, we are building a new unified payment platform, consolidating several existing systems into one scalable solution.
We are looking for a Business Analyst who will play a key role at the intersection of business, product, and engineering — translating complex payment processes into clear and actionable specifications.
What you will do
🔹 Requirements & Documentation
Gather business requirements from stakeholders (product, risk, compliance, merchants)
Write clear specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria
Model business processes (BPMN 2.0, AS-IS / TO-BE)
Maintain documentation (Confluence / Notion)
🔹 Payment Processes
Describe and optimize payment flows:authorization
settlement
refunds
chargebacks
Analyze transaction routing logic (smart routing, waterfall)
Support integrations with PSPs and acquirers (REST API)
Participate in platform consolidation and migration
🔹 Collaboration
Work closely with Product, Engineering, and QA
Participate in Agile ceremonies (grooming, planning, demos)
Align with compliance and risk teams (PCI DSS, AML/KYC)
Prepare materials for internal teams and merchants
Requirements
🔹 Must-have
3+ years as Business Analyst / Systems Analyst
Experience in fintech / payments / banking
Strong understanding of payment lifecycle
(authorization → capture → settlement → reconciliation)
Experience working with REST APIs (Postman / Swagger)
BPMN / UML knowledge
Experience with Agile / Scrum
Strong English communication skills
🔹 Nice to have
Experience with PSP / acquiring / PayFac
Knowledge of ISO 8583 / ISO 20022
Experience with chargebacks / disputes / rolling reserves
Experience in platform migration projects
