Business Analyst (Wealth Management, Core Banking)

Summary

Business Analyst in wealth management and core banking, gathering requirements, bridging business and tech teams, and guiding agile delivery of investment/insurance products.

  • Analyze, capture, and document business requirements clearly and completely.
  • Work with business stakeholders to understand needs, draw inferences, and translate requirements into functional and technical delivery inputs.
  • Guide developers and testers by explaining functional requirements, expected system behaviour, product flows, and business rules.
  • Must have hands-on experience in Business Analysis and Data Analysis, preferably in Consumer Banking, Wealth Management, Data Warehouse Analytics, or related technology enhancements.
  • Strong experience as a Business Analyst with functional or domain knowledge of investment and insurance products.
  • Good understanding of wealth management products, banking processes, and customer-facing digital or operational journeys.
  • Strong understanding of technology delivery life cycles and the practices required to implement effective systems.
  • Experience working in agile delivery environments and documenting requirements as epics, features, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows.
  • Experience supporting production cutover, release planning, deployment coordination, and post-release validation.
  • Prior experience performing Scrum Master responsibilities or coordinating agile delivery across multiple squads is preferred.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams, including business users, developers, testers, production support, operations, and release management teams.
  • Working knowledge of SQL, Postman, REST APIs, and SOAP APIs is an added advantage.
  • Wealth management technology delivery experience including the exposure on Finacle, Avaloq or any other core banking systems.
  • Exposure on investment and insurance product platforms.
