Join a team in Army head quarters and support the Royal Australian Signals Workforce Review — an initiative focused on preparing Army’s signals workforce for the strategic, technological and operational environment of 2030.

Working within the Workforce Review Team, you’ll analyse complex workforce, capability and organisational challenges, engage directly with Defence stakeholders and turn data and requirements into practical insights that inform decisions and future solutions.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll work across the preparations and implementation phases of the Workforce Review, helping the team understand future needs, assess impacts and document solutions.

Your work will include:

• Leading requirements-gathering sessions, workshops, interviews and surveys with stakeholders.
• Analysing business processes, systems and data to identify needs, improvement opportunities and change impacts.
• Assessing the workforce and organisational impacts of new LC4 and Defence C4 capabilities.
• Gathering and interpreting data to produce insights for project planning and decision-making.
• Assessing risks and identifying potential challenges.
• Designing and validating solutions against workforce review objectives and Defence policy.
• Translating findings into clear reports and presentations for stakeholders.
• Maintaining requirements traceability and ensuring stakeholder needs remain aligned with project goals.
• Working collaboratively across an agile environment using the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).

What you’ll bring

You’re an experienced Business Analyst who can make sense of complexity, ask the right questions and communicate clearly with stakeholders at different levels.

You’ll need:

• A relevant Business Analysis qualification or certification.
• A minimum of five years’ Business Analysis experience.
• Proven experience analysing complex data, processes and systems to identify business needs and organisational improvement opportunities.
• Experience relevant to Defence workforce or organisational change projects.
• Demonstrated ability to engage with ADF, APS and contractor stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex information clearly.
• Experience working successfully in an agile environment, including practical application of SAFe or a comparable delivery environment.
• A current NV1 security clearance.
