Responsibilities

  • Collecting, preparing, and analyzing operational and trading data to support business decisions and improve operational functions
  • Developing and maintaining dashboards, reports, and management information to monitor key operational metrics and identify trends or exceptions
  • Performing data quality checks and investigating discrepancies across trade, position, cash, and reference data, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of operational information
  • Supporting the analysis of the trade lifecycle, including reconciliations, settlements, and post-trade processes, helping to identify opportunities for process improvements
  • Collaborating across teams to gather business requirements and deliver data-driven solutions for operational challenges
  • Assisting in automating recurring reports and manual workflows using SQL, Python, Excel, or business intelligence tools to improve scalability and reduce operational risk.
  • Documenting data sources, reporting processes, and analytical methodologies to ensure consistency, transparency, and effective knowledge sharing
  • Contributing to projects focused on enhancing operational processes, strengthening controls, and improving data governance across the firm

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in data analytics, statistics, or a similar discipline
  • Proficiency with Python and its common numerical/predictive libraries (numpy, pandas, etc.)
  • Proficiency with relational databases such as SQL, as well as data visualization tools is desired
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • An interest in business analytics
  • Ability to start by October 2026 and intern on a full-time basis
