Business Architect – Semiconductor Manufacturing Software
Salary: RM 12,000 – RM 18,000 per month
About the role
Design and own the business architecture for semiconductor manufacturing software solutions, covering MES, EAP, RTD, and related CIM applications. Translate fab operational requirements into scalable system designs, process flows, and architecture specifications.
Key responsibilities
- Design and own the business architecture for semiconductor manufacturing software solutions, covering MES, EAP, RTD, and related CIM applications
- Define future-state business processes, operating models, and capability maps for manufacturing execution, equipment automation, and production planning
- Translate fab operational requirements into scalable system designs, process flows, and architecture specifications
- Lead cross-functional alignment between IT, operations, and external vendors to ensure end-to-end integration
- Assess the current manufacturing software landscape, identify gaps, and define transformation roadmaps
- Establish architecture governance standards, integration patterns, and data models
- Provide thought leadership on Industry 4.0, AI/ML in manufacturing, and emerging semiconductor software trends
About you
- Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related fields
- 8+ years in semiconductor manufacturing software, with focus on business architecture, solution design, or manufacturing systems
- Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes
- Hands-on knowledge of MES, EAP, RTD, and CIM architectures
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional process design and translate business needs into scalable solutions
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making abilities
- Able to read and write in both Chinese and English
