Business Data Analyst

The Business Data Analyst plays a critical role in transforming data into actionable insights, monitoring performance, strengthening governance, and enabling timely, fact-based decision making. In this role, you will serve as a central coordinator across global workstreams. You will drive visibility, alignment, and accountability-helping teams maintain momentum and deliver against program objectives. You will ensure the accurate, timely, and consistent information is available to support effective governance and accelerate value delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Program Performance & Pipeline Management

• Monitor the project pipeline and overall program performance, analyzing stage progression, project status, and value delivery.
• Track performance against plan, identify gaps and deviations, and validate reported root causes.
• Provide workstream and senior leaders with data-driven insights into trends, risks, performance gaps, root causes, and opportunities to accelerate value.
• Prepare weekly performance dashboards and management reports.

Governance & Milestone Management

• Maintain milestone governance across workstreams, tracking critical milestones, high-impact deliverables, and items requiring escalation.
• Consolidate decisions and action logs, track accountability, and follow up with initiative owners and workstream leaders to drive timely closure.
• Prepare materials and support the facilitation, documentation, and follow-up of workstream, leadership, and governance meetings.
• Report key risks, opportunities, and decisions requiring leadership attention.

Finance & Value Realization

• Support Finance with reporting, impact accounting, value realization tracking, and governance preparation.
• Analyze value deltas, forecast changes, and financial deviations, and support monthly Latest Estimate reviews and savings reporting.
• Monitor CAPEX-related initiatives and challenge business cases, savings assumptions, and value forecasts to ensure accuracy, credibility, and alignment with program objectives.

Executive Reporting & Communications

• Develop concise executive summaries, performance reports, and leadership presentations for reviews and steering committees.
• Review executive reporting for accuracy, clarity, and consistency, maintaining common standards and definitions across workstreams.
• Enable transparency through accurate, timely, and relevant information sharing.

Data Integrity, Reporting & Continuous Improvement

• Maintain the accuracy and integrity of project data, reporting tools, and trackers, partnering with stakeholders to resolve data quality issues.
• Improve reporting and governance practices through automation, simplification, and standardization.
• Assist in training users on reporting tools, data requirements, and governance processes.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Analytics, or related field.
• Proven experience in business analytics, management consulting, project management, supply chain or manufacturing analytics, finance, or a related discipline.
• Experience developing and managing performance dashboards, KPIs, and management reporting.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience working with large datasets and translating complex information into practical, actionable business insights.
• Fluent in English, with the ability to communicate effectively across global teams.
• Ability and willingness to travel as needed.
