The company is a well-established specialist in the air conditioning industry, providing services across the South-East Queensland region. The company provides a complete air conditioning service, which includes repair, design, maintenance, installation and servicing, to domestic, commercial and industrial customers. The team goes above and beyond for its customers, ensuring all work is performed to the highest quality standards. With recent growth in their business, they are seeking a full-time Business Development Manager to join their sales team that is able to facilitate new business growth and provide exceptional customer service.
The Position…
This new role is focussed on achieving customer growth, whilst providing excellent customer service. You will need to demonstrate sales experience and be determined to succeed. The position will see you working in a fast-paced environment, assisting customers with solutions to their HVAC needs and providing timely quotations. You will be provided with fortnightly sales training with other high performing sales professionals. Furthermore, you will be working closely with the production team to ensure your projects are delivered on time and at the highest quality, resulting in superior customer satisfaction.
More specific responsibilities for the Business Development Manager include:
- Devise strategies and techniques necessary for achieving growth and hitting sales targets
- Monitor and adhere to KPIs
- Create strategies to acquire new clients
- Maintain a high level of customer retention
The Ideal Candidate…
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- A minimum of 2 years of direct work experience in a Business Development Management or Sales Representative position.
- Proficient in the use of a personal computer, including navigating the internet and use of computer applications, such as email
- Good decision making and problem-solving skills
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and being able to follow systems and processes
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team
