Business Development Manager
Description
We are looking for a Business Development Manager to drive growth for a multi-state mental health organization. The role focuses on two goals: winning B2B corporate mental health contracts and growing patient referrals through partnerships with healthcare providers and community organizations.
This is a full-time, remote position based in the Philippines, working U.S. business hours. You will work independently, generate your own opportunities, and track results in a CRM. We want a proactive, results-driven business development professional who can become a long-term contributor to the company's growth, not an administrative support person.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue corporate mental health contracts with employers, healthcare organizations, schools, athletic organizations, and government agencies
- Build relationships with HR directors, benefits managers, executives, and other decision-makers
- Generate qualified leads through outbound emails, cold calls, LinkedIn, and networking
- Schedule meetings and presentations with prospective corporate clients
- Develop and manage a pipeline of potential corporate partnerships
- Assist with proposals, contract negotiations, and follow-up communications
- Establish referral partnerships with physicians, psychiatrists, hospitals, primary care practices, attorneys, and community organizations
- Expand the patient referral network in Florida, Georgia, and California
- Follow up with prospective referral partners and track conversion opportunities
- Coordinate with intake and marketing teams to improve patient acquisition
- Identify new opportunities to increase referrals from commercial insurance networks
- Track outreach, meetings, referrals, conversions, and revenue opportunities in the CRM
- Provide weekly performance reports and monthly business development updates
- Recommend strategies to improve lead generation and conversion rates
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in business development, B2B sales, healthcare sales, or lead generation
- Experience working with U.S.-based companies
- Healthcare, behavioral health, or mental health experience (preferred)
- Strong written and verbal English, with confidence speaking directly with U.S. executives
- Experience with cold calls, email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, and appointment setting
- Proven ability to build relationships and generate new business
- Experience managing sales pipelines and meeting performance targets
- Strong organizational skills, independence, and accountability
- Experience with healthcare referral development or employer partnerships (preferred)
- Experience with or willingness to learn: Salesforce CRM, Apollo.io, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Google Workspace, Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams
