This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Business Development Manager EMS based in Spain.

This is a high-impact business development role focused on expanding Electronics Manufacturing Services across the European market.
You will identify new commercial opportunities, build strategic customer relationships, and help grow the business across Germany and other key European markets.
The role combines consultative B2B sales, market development, negotiation, and project-oriented commercial management.
You will work closely with sales, engineering, project management, and manufacturing teams to turn customer needs into compelling business opportunities.
Frequent travel will be an important part of the position, allowing you to meet customers, attend industry events, and develop relationships across the region.
You will operate with significant autonomy in a remote environment while remaining closely connected to an international commercial and technical organization.

Accountabilities:

  • Conduct market research across Europe to identify target customers, understand market needs, and uncover new opportunities for EMS business growth.
  • Develop new business through proactive prospecting, outreach, customer visits, presentations, networking, and business case development.
  • Build, develop, and maintain strong long-term relationships with prospective and existing customers across Germany and other European markets.
  • Identify customer requirements and collaborate with internal technical and commercial teams to develop relevant manufacturing solutions.
  • Prepare commercial proposals and offers aligned with customer needs and business objectives.
  • Manage commercial and contract processes from initial opportunity through negotiation and agreement.
  • Work toward assigned sales development targets and take ownership of achieving measurable commercial results.
  • Represent the organization at exhibitions, industry conferences, customer meetings, and other relevant business events across Europe.
  • Collaborate closely with the Sales Group Manager, Key Account Managers, engineering, project management, and manufacturing teams.
  • Maintain effective communication and reporting on pipeline development, customer opportunities, commercial activity, and progress toward targets.
  • Travel frequently throughout Germany and Europe to meet customers, develop partnerships, and identify new business opportunities.
  • Contribute to the development of the European EMS market by identifying emerging opportunities, industries, and customer segments.
  • Requirements:

    • 5+ years of professional B2B sales or business development experience within Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS), contract manufacturing, or industrial manufacturing.
    • Previous experience in international or European B2B sales is highly desirable.
    • Strong understanding of complex B2B sales cycles and the ability to develop relationships with prospective customers from initial contact through commercial agreement.
    • Fluent English, both written and spoken; additional European languages are welcome but not required.
    • Strong commercial drive and motivation to achieve ambitious sales and business development targets.
    • Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities, develop compelling business cases, negotiate effectively, and convert prospects into customers.
    • Excellent presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
    • Strong negotiation, organizational, and business project management capabilities.
    • Results-oriented, proactive, and challenge-driven approach with the ability to work independently.
    • Comfortable collaborating across sales, engineering, project management, and manufacturing functions.
    • Valid driving license and willingness to travel frequently across Germany and other European countries.
    • Residence in Europe with convenient access to an international airport.
    • Comfortable working remotely while maintaining strong communication and customer engagement across multiple countries.
