Business Development Representative
We are looking for a motivated, curious, and results-driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our growing sales organization. As a BDR, you will play a critical role in generating new business opportunities and building the pipeline that fuels our sales team
You’ll engage with prospective customers across email, phone, and social channels, identify their business challenges, and create meaningful conversations with key decision-makers. You’ll work closely with Account Executives, Marketing, and Sales Leadership to develop targeted outreach strategies and turn qualified prospects into sales opportunities.
This is an ideal role for someone who is competitive, coachable, resilient, and excited to build a career in SaaS sales. You’ll receive structured training, ongoing coaching, and opportunities to grow into an Account Executive or sales leadership role.
What You'll Do
- Prospect into target accounts across mid-market and enterprise segments using phone, email, LinkedIn, and other outbound channels.
- Research companies, industries, and key decision-makers to develop relevant and personalized outreach.
- Engage prospects with thoughtful, value-driven messaging that connects our solutions to their business challenges.
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads based on company fit, business needs, timing, and buying potential.
- Schedule qualified discovery meetings for Account Executives and ensure a smooth handoff throughout the sales process.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date prospect and activity information in Salesforce and other sales technology.
- Consistently achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly activity, meeting, and pipeline-generation goals.
- Partner with Account Executives to develop account strategies and prioritize high-value opportunities.
- Collaborate with the Campaign Team to provide feedback on messaging, campaigns, target accounts, and lead quality.
- Leverage tools such as Salesforce, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Gong, and other sales technologies to improve prospecting effectiveness.
- Continuously test and refine messaging, channels, and prospecting strategies based on performance data.
- Participate in regular coaching, training, role plays, and team development sessions.
What you should bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field; or one year sales experience.
- Well organized and responsible with an aptitude for problem solving.
- Team player with high level of dedication.
- Coachable and willing to take direction from manager or mentor.
- Cold calling experience/aptitude with strong verbal and written communication skills to persuade, influence and incite action to advance opportunities.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and multi-task.
- Be able to work onsite at our Milwaukee Headquarters 3 days per week.
