The Business Intelligence and Data Analytics team is the engine behind our data-driven business iterations. This year, we are evolving our core capabilities by integrating AI into our workflows. We are looking for a forward-thinking Junior BI Analyst to support our AI transformation by helping to bridge the gap between traditional analytics and next-generation intelligence.
Job Description
Data analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for the Shopee cross-border business organisation AI-augmented support: Support senior leads in implementing AI initiatives that drive internal productivity and predictive business modelling Efficiency via AI agents: Utilise and build internal AI agents to automate repetitive data tasks and streamline team workflows Smart reporting: Evolve traditional BI dashboards into intelligent dashboards by incorporating predictive features and automated insight summaries Data product support: Collaborate with stakeholders to provide data support for AI-assisted simulation models and decision-support tools KPI reporting: Maintain data integrity and streamline data processes to ensure accurate and timely reporting
Requirements
Bachelor/Master Degree preferably in data analytics, engineering, statistics, mathematics or any other quantitative discipline Min 1 year of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, engineering or any other related fields Proven technical skills, python, SQL, VBA, Excel, Google Sheets, Tableau etc Experience in data analysis and process automation Able to pay attention to detail and rely on data Able to story tell and transform numbers into key insights that drives business decisions Able to communicate in a clear and succinct manner to stakeholders Able to identify root causes and solve challenges Growth and Optimisation mindsets
