Business Intelligence Analyst

Salary: £35,000 - 40,000 per year

• Hands-on Power BI development experience building operational and financial dashboards
• Strong SQL knowledge and ability to manipulate data
• Experience working commercially with large datasets
• Track record of building operational and financial dashboards
• Confidence translating business requirements into analysis and recommendations, and presenting them to management
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage several projects at once

• Design, build and improve Power BI dashboards to support decision-making
• Use SQL to manipulate data
• Own reporting across warehouse operations, inventory, transport, customer service, labour productivity, costs and budgets
• Use data from sources such as Fabric, WMS and SAP to identify trends, risks and root causes
• Validate, model and manage the data behind reports
• Automate manual reporting and improve access to information
• Work with stakeholders across the business to understand and prioritise their needs, then deliver against them

We are a leading manufacturing company seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to develop reporting and analytics for our distribution centre. The role works closely with our Distribution, Supply Chain, Commercial and IT teams, turning operational and financial data into useful reporting and recommendations to improve site performance. The position is based in Cambridgeshire and is on site initially, with agile working available after probation. Pay is up to £38,000 per annum plus bonus.
