As a Business Operations - Commercial Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leveraging advanced analytical techniques to extract insights from large datasets, driving data-driven decision-making within our Internal Firm Services practice. You will utilize skills in data manipulation, visualization, and statistical modeling to support clients in solving complex business problems and optimizing their operations to achieve strategic goals.
As a Manager, you will enhance your leadership style by motivating, developing, and inspiring others to deliver quality work. You are responsible for coaching and leveraging team members' unique strengths, managing performance to meet client expectations, and identifying opportunities that contribute to the success of our firm. You are expected to lead with integrity and authenticity, articulating our purpose and values in a meaningful way, while embracing technology and innovation to enhance delivery.
In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will take ownership of projects, confirming their successful planning, budgeting, execution, and completion. You will work with team leadership to establish collective ownership of quality, timelines, and deliverables, while mentoring others and addressing conflicts or issues with clients and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Support contract lifecycle management for technology vendors
- Track contractual obligations, renewals, milestones, and risks
- Support sourcing, negotiations, and vendor transitions
- Analyse pricing models and commercial performance
- Provide commercial insight for vendor‑related escalations
- Support governance of vendor‑supplied workforce and alignment to approved workforce requests
- Track utilisation and commercial effectiveness of vendor‑provided resources
What You Must Have
- Any Graduate
- At least 8-14 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
What Sets You Apart
- Experience in IT commercial management, vendor management, or procurement roles
- Strong understanding of contracts, pricing structures, and sourcing models
- Ability to identify commercial and operational risk
- Strong attention to detail and documentation discipline
- Understanding of contingent workforce models and vendor‑based resourcing Ability to apply overall basic technical knowledge within the role.
- Ability to solve simple tasks, using common sense and quick thinking
- Utilising detailed instructions and analysis, often with guidance from the Team Leader.
- Ability to organise day-to-day tasks with direct and specific guidance from Team Leader.
- Make an impact through completion of assigned day-to-day tasks.
