Business Solutions Architect

We are looking for a resourceful, passionate application architect to build and implement functional programs. You will work with the Senior Business Solutions Architect, software development team, and an array of business owners throughout the solution and software development life cycle.
The Business Solutions Architect responsibilities include gathering user requirements, defining system functionality, analyzing data, and performing quality assurance on deliverables. The architect often plays a role as product owner in our SCRUM projects, and acts as an intermediary between the business owners and technical teams.
In this role, you should be a team player with a keen eye for detail and strong instincts for problem-solving, as well as the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks. You should also be willing to independently research technology and methodologies outside of your current skill set and comfort zone. Knowing the answer is great, being able to find the answer is better.
Responsibilities
Work closely with business owners and stakeholders to understand the full scope of their needs
Gain expertise in business processes across the organization to better understand options available, data sources, and key staff
Lead multi-disciplinary teams throughout the full project lifecycle, including acting as product owner, business analyst, and project manager as needed
Develop flowcharts, layouts, and documentation to identify requirements and solutions
Work with developers and business owners to perform quality assurance
Recommend and execute improvements
Requirements
Proven work experience as an architect, analysts, software developer, or similar role
Proven ability to bridge communication gaps, cultivate collaborative relationships, and align diverse stakeholders
Excellent knowledge of relational databases, specifically MS SQL, and the ability to work with large, complex data sets
Ability to think strategically, looking at the big picture and how solutions work together
Desired
Experience in the Health Care or Health Insurance industry, and Epic systems specifically.
Strong T-SQL skills
Understanding of Agile Scrum principles
Experience with Lean Process Improvement
Experience with project/task management tools
Experience with SharePoint
