Business Systems Analyst
Summary
Business Systems Analyst in Abu Dhabi acting as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams: gathering and documenting requirements (BRDs, FRDs, user stories), analyzing workflows and integrations across platforms like CRM, HRMS, portals, and mobile apps, and supporting UAT. Core tooling includes Jira, Confluence, Postman, and SQL/API basics.
We are looking for a Business Systems Analyst to join our Technology team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, system functionalities, workflows, and integrations across the company's digital platforms.
The Business Systems Analyst will act as a bridge between business stakeholders, developers, QA, and technical teams, ensuring that business requirements are clearly understood, documented, and translated into effective and practical system solutions.
Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements.
- Prepare BRDs, FRDs, User Stories, and Acceptance Criteria.
- Analyze systems, modules, workflows, and business processes.
- Identify system gaps, issues, dependencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Create Process Flows, As-Is / To-Be Workflows, and system diagrams.
- Analyze APIs, integrations, webhooks, and data flows.
- Work with developers and QA teams to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
- Prepare and support UAT scenarios and functional testing.
- Analyze systems such as CRM, PBX, WhatsApp, HRMS, Portals, Websites, and Mobile Applications.
- Maintain accurate and updated system and process documentation.
- Coordinate with business and technical teams throughout the development process.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Information Systems, or a related field.
- 4–5 years of experience in Business Analysis, Systems Analysis, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of business processes and software systems.
- Experience working with developers, QA, and technical teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of requirements gathering, workflow analysis, UAT, and functional testing.
- Basic understanding of APIs, REST, JSON/XML, and SQL.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, Draw.io, Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, and Excel/Google Sheets is preferred.
- Experience with SaaS, CRM, Real Estate Technology, Cloud Applications, or system integrations is an advantage.
