Business Systems Analyst (BSA) - Ironclad CLM
Summary
Business Systems Analyst for an Ironclad CLM implementation: leads discovery workshops with Legal, Procurement, and Finance, defines contracting workflows and requirements, supports legacy contract migration and data quality, and drives change management and role-based user training. Key tools include Ironclad CLM plus integrations with Salesforce, Coupa, Oracle Fusion, and DocuSign.
- Business Systems Analysis Solution Design: Requirements Process Discovery: Lead cross-functional discovery workshops with Legal, Procurement, Commercial, Finance, and technical stakeholders to document current-state processes, identify pain points, gaps, controls, and dependencies, and define scalable future-state contracting workflows.
- Discovery Design Artifacts: Lead the completion and quality review of Ironclad discovery workbooks, including workflow discovery, launch forms, properties, approvals, signatures, permissions, repository requirements, and workflow feedback.
- Requirements Design Documentation: Translate business needs into clear requirements, user stories, process maps, business rules, acceptance criteria, and build-ready design artifacts. Maintain traceability of requirements, assumptions, decisions, risks, dependencies, and open questions throughout implementation.
- Workflow Solution Design: Define business requirements for templates, intake forms, metadata, approval routing, clauses, permissions, and negotiation workflows. Partner with the Ironclad Platform Administrator and implementation resources responsible for platform configuration.

Partner with architects, administrators, and integration engineers responsible for technical design and implementation.
- Testing Release Management: Develop UAT scenarios and scripts, coordinate testing with business stakeholders, manage requirements and defect traceability, validate that configured solutions meet business needs, and support release and production-readiness activities.
Ironclad Migration Data Architecture Participation
- Data Architecture Contribution: Collaborate with technical leads, architects, and Legal Operations to help define contract taxonomies, standardized metadata schemas, record types, and parent-child agreement hierarchies.
- Migration Execution Support: Participate in the end-to-end migration of legacy contracts from existing repositories into the Ironclad Repository, supporting data mapping, staging, and bulk ingestion tasks.
- Smart Import Data Validation: Assist with bulk legacy imports, including OCR and Ironclad Smart Import, and perform data cleansing, deduplication, and quality assurance audits to verify data accuracy post-cutover.
Change Management, Enablement Training
- Change Impact Execution: Develop and execute structured change management plans to smoothly transition cross-functional teams from manual or legacy contracting habits to automated self-service workflows.
- Role-Based Training Delivery: Design and lead live and on-demand training sessions tailored to distinct user personas - including Sales/Requesters (intake and self-service), Legal Counsel (review and redlining), and Approvers.
- Enablement Collateral: Create self-service documentation, quick-reference guides (QRGs), video walkthroughs, and internal wiki playbooks to empower users and minimize routine support tickets.
- Adoption Feedback Loops: Monitor post-launch adoption metrics, run user office hours, and gather stakeholder feedback to continuously refine intake forms and workflow logic.
