Business Systems Analyst

Overview

Dataflix is seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst with expertise in Informatica, SQL, and data analysis. This role partners with business stakeholders, developers, and data teams to gather requirements, analyze data, and support enterprise data integration and reporting initiatives. The ideal candidate can translate business needs into functional specifications and help ensure high-quality data and reporting solutions.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements.
  

• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to define data and reporting needs.
  

• Perform data analysis, data validation, and data quality assessments.
  

• Develop and execute SQL queries to analyze, validate, and reconcile data.
  

• Create source-to-target mapping documents and business requirements documentation.
  

• Support ETL and data integration initiatives using Informatica.
  

• Identify data issues and partner with development teams to implement solutions.
  

• Participate in testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and production support activities.
  

• Prepare project documentation, process flows, and functional specifications.
  

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Data Analyst, or related role.
  

• Strong hands-on experience with Informatica and SQL.
  

• Experience performing data analysis, data mapping, and data validation.
  

• Ability to translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
  

• Experience with ETL processes, databases, and data warehousing concepts.
  

• Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
  

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.

• Experience supporting enterprise data integration and reporting environments.
