Business Systems Program Manager
Description
We are looking for a Business Systems Program Manager to drive improvements to our core business systems and broader technology environment. This role sits at the intersection of business analysis, program/project management, technology, and organizational change. You will work with business teams, IT, vendors, and other stakeholders to turn business priorities into successful initiatives, including process improvements, system enhancements, integrations, upgrades, and new capabilities.
A key principle is that business teams own their processes, requirements, priorities, decisions, and outcomes. You provide the structure, analysis, facilitation, project leadership, and coordination needed to turn those priorities into results. You will work across CRM, PLM, ERP, and other enterprise applications, while also contributing to broader initiatives involving data, integrations, cloud technologies, automation, AI, security, and other emerging technologies.
Please note this is an in-office position, located at our head office in Ottawa, ON, address: 2650 Queensview Dr. Unit #150, Ottawa, ON K2B 8H6.

- Facilitate discovery and requirements sessions to understand business needs, processes, challenges, priorities, and desired outcomes.
- Translate business needs into clear requirements and actionable initiatives.
- Challenge assumptions and help distinguish the underlying business need from a proposed technology solution.
- Evaluate opportunities based on business value, effort, risk, dependencies, strategic alignment, and organizational readiness.
- Help business teams make decisions, establish priorities, and maintain ownership throughout initiatives.
Program & Project Management
- Lead initiatives involving CRM, PLM, ERP, and other business systems and technologies from discovery through implementation and adoption.
- Develop project plans, milestones, responsibilities, dependencies, communications, and measures of success.
- Coordinate business teams, IT, vendors, consultants, and implementation partners.
- Manage risks, issues, decisions, actions, and deliverables while keeping initiatives moving forward.
- Provide leadership and stakeholders with clear visibility into progress, priorities, risks, roadblocks, and required decisions.
- Manage multiple initiatives and help establish priorities across the portfolio.
Systems & Process Improvement
- Work with business teams to develop improvement roadmaps for key systems and processes.

- Identify where automation, AI, and emerging technologies could provide meaningful business value.

- Work with business leaders and subject matter experts to prepare teams for change.
