Buyer (Aerospace)
Summary
Procure aerospace parts and equipment by managing supplier negotiations, ERP-based purchasing, and logistics coordination to meet workshop needs.
- Oversee the full procurement cycle, including sourcing, purchasing, and supplier coordination, to support workshop activities and meet operational goals in line with company regulations.
- Identify, assess, and negotiate with suppliers for spare parts, consumables, equipment, and services to achieve the best balance of cost, quality, and reliability.
- Examine supplier quotations, compare market pricing, and provide recommendations for cost-effective purchasing decisions.
- Work closely with vendors, logistics personnel, and planning departments to ensure smooth material flow and timely resolution of supply-related concerns.
Requirements:
- Diploma and above
- At least 3 years of purchasing experience in aerospace industry.
- Proficient in ERP system.
- Effective communication skills for both internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
