C++ embedded developer

MITO Srl in Torino is seeking an experienced embedded C++ developer to join our team. You will design, implement, and maintain software for embedded devices, following architecture guidance and reducing technical debt.

You will manage the full software lifecycle, including build and test automation, CI/CD pipelines, and secure deployment on devices, while ensuring compliance with our SDLC and ISO standards. Collaboration with colleagues and mentoring juniors is expected.

Develop code following architecture standards and reduce technical debt. Participate in design and development of critical project parts with architecture team. End-to-end software lifecycle management for embedded systems, including build, test automation, CI, and secure deployment. Manage unit tests and automate tests where possible. Own deployment and toolchain for own projects. Ensure code complies with SDLC, versioning, and ISO standards. Document projects per given standards. Collaborate with team and mentor junior resources. Proficiency in C++11+ and embedded software development. Experience with embedded Linux user space. Strong knowledge of version control (Git/GitHub). Familiarity with CI/CD, build automation, and firmware pipelines. Scripting skills in Bash and/or Python. Ability to write software documentation to standards. Experience with CAN protocols is a plus. Knowledge of SDLC and ISO standards is expected.
