C#.Net Developer (Bank Project)
Summary
A 12-month contract C#/.NET developer role supporting a bank's BI applications in London (hybrid: 3 days office, 2 remote). Day to day: design and build applications, program in C# against Oracle and SQL Server, perform data analysis, unit testing, QA, and support production and disaster recovery environments.
Salary: £50,000 - 80,000 per year
Requirements:- At least 7 years of proven experience in C# and .NET development
- Good experience in Windows application development
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills when dealing with technical and non-technical people
- At least 5 years of experience in financial services
- Exposure to development within C# or other development technologies
- Experience and knowledge of Agile delivery
- Experience with CI and automation tools
- Develop and support the Banks BI applications using the MS .NET platform with C#
- Understand business requirements and design applications
- Perform business data analysis
- Program in Visual C#.NET using Oracle and SQL Server databases
- Carry out unit testing, quality assurance, implementation, and support across production and disaster recovery environments
- Support users and prepare documents
- Support existing C# and .NET applications
- Provide general IT support to maintain environments
