C# Software Engineer
Summary
An experienced C#/.NET engineer develops and modernizes an enterprise mining financial modeling product (budgeting, forecasting, life-of-mine planning) for a global mining software vendor. Day to day: backend services and REST APIs in C#/.NET on Microsoft Azure, frontend work in ReactJS/JavaScript, CI/CD via Azure DevOps, in an Agile Brisbane CBD team.
Our client develops sophisticated enterprise software for mine planning, scheduling and asset management, integrating physical mining operations with financial modelling to optimise mine profitability and lifecycle costs.
You will join a team responsible for developing and enhancing an established, globally recognised mining financial modelling solution used for budgeting, forecasting, cost modelling and life-of-mine planning.
The product is evolving, with an exciting development roadmap that includes transitioning its frontend to a modern, browser-based solution and introducing AI-powered features to enhance its capabilities.
You will work within a collaborative Agile software development environment, using C#/.NET, REST APIs, ReactJS, JavaScript and Microsoft Azure technologies.
The team also embraces AI-assisted software development tools to improve engineering productivity, code quality and testing. You will contribute to both existing functionality and the ongoing modernisation of the platform, helping deliver its next generation of capabilities.
