Requirements:- Strong commercial experience with C# / .NET and ASP.NET Core 8+
- Experience developing cloud-based applications, ideally using AWS or Azure
- Previous CAD-CAM software development experience
- Strong mathematical and geometric problem-solving ability
- Experience working with 3D graphics, geometry or CAD applications
- Proven ability to work across multiple teams, projects or codebases
- Strong Git and modern software development practices
- Typically 3+ years of commercial C#/.NET development experience
- Strong mathematical or technical background
- A degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline would be beneficial, although equivalent commercial experience will also be considered

- Contribute hands-on from day one across complex software projects
- Work within a dedicated CAD-CAM division developing cloud-based enterprise software and native/browser applications used by clients worldwide
- Work across different areas of the CAD-CAM platform depending on project demand
- Tackle challenges around 3D geometry, mathematical algorithms, optimisation, toolpath generation and automated manufacturing workflows

We are offering an Outside IR35 contract opportunity for 6 months at a Nottingham hybrid location, with 2 days per week in the office and 3 days remote. We work on technically challenging CAD-CAM and cloud software within a collaborative environment made up of multiple specialist development teams. The role sits within a dedicated CAD-CAM division focused on advanced applications for the steel fabrication and machinery industries, and the work involves cloud-based enterprise software plus native and browser applications used by clients worldwide. Desirable experience includes WPF, Angular or modern frontend frameworks, DynamoDB/NoSQL, RabbitMQ/MassTransit, microservices, event-driven architecture, CQRS, DDD, TDD, Agile, and CI/CD.
