CAD Draftsman

We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Draftsman who specializes in 2D and 3D CAD and Revit modeling. The primary responsibility of the successful candidate will be to create technical drawings and models that represent architectural and engineering designs accurately. Familiarity with CAD software is a must as it is crucial for producing precise layouts, schematics, and 3D visualizations.

Job Purpose

The purpose of this role is to bridge the gap between conceptual design and construction reality. The draftsman will be a critical component of our design team, working closely with architects and engineers to ensure designs meet project specifications and standards. The understanding of building codes and construction methods will form the backbone of the work produced in this role.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Creating and modifying detailed 2D CAD drawings
• Developing 3D models and visualizations using CAD and Revit software
• Collaborating with architects and engineers to ensure design accuracy
• Understanding and applying building codes and construction standards to designs
• Checking and validating design drawings to conform to specifications and design data

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience as a draftsman or similar role
• Strong knowledge and experience with 2D CAD, 3D CAD, and Revit modeling
• Excellent technical drawing skills
• Proficiency in architectural and engineering design
• Attention to detail and a keen eye for precision
• Strong understanding of building codes and construction methods
• Strong spatial awareness
• Excellent collaboration and teamwork skills
