Full Time Revitalization Pastor in Residency Position – Renewal Church, Sarasota, FL
Renewal Church is seeking to multiply it’s Kingdom impact by developing and deploying a Revitalization Pastor in residence. Renewal is a thriving church that is passionate about glorifying God, living in deep connection with others, and being on mission in their community and world. In partnership with the Alliance Southeast, they desire to extend their impact by assisting Christian and Missionary Alliance congregations in their region that desire a new season of health and missional impact in their local community.
This residency will last two years as a full-time staff position at Renewal Church with the goal of continuing as a full-time Lead Pastor position with the revitalized congregation. Applicants should have some previous experience in church leadership at an elder or pastoral staff level and have a heart for reaching the unchurched. Ideal applicants will have solid communication and people skills and be able to work with mentors to form and execute a clear ministry strategy.
While previous experience is required, the ideal applicant will desire to be coached and developed into Renewal’s ministry model and culture. Additional coaching will be provided by the Alliance Southeast in the areas of disciple making, leadership development, soul care, and community engagement.
Candidates must be able to meet licensing and ordination requirements with the C&MA which includes having previously completed at least thirty hours of theological education at an accredited school or through a C&MA approved program. To learn more about the C&MA and the Alliance Southeast visit
