Campus Quantitative Researcher

You will own a quantitative research project from start to finish, collect and explore large datasets, engineer predictive features, build and evaluate models, and present your results. You will receive daily mentorship while researching live-market problems and developing models for trading systems.

Responsibilities

• Own a research project end to end
• Collect, clean, and explore large datasets
• Engineer features that turn raw data into predictive signals
• Build, fit, and evaluate models
• Present research results to the team
• Conduct research on predictive modeling and alpha research
• Improve models and systems behind live trading

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a PhD in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, or another highly quantitative field
• Systematic research thinking
• Experience conducting an in-depth research project with real-world data
• Python programming experience
• Ability to read, understand, and debug code
• Communication and collaboration
• Creativity and initiative
• Perseverance
• Reliable and predictable availability
