Campus Systems Engineer Intern

You will monitor and improve a real-time trading environment, investigate system issues, troubleshoot software and networking infrastructure, design and optimize low-latency network infrastructure, build production automation, coordinate changes and incidents, assess operational risk, and document processes.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the overall health and performance of the trading platform
• Analyze and troubleshoot system, software, and networking infrastructure issues
• Design, implement, and optimize network infrastructure for low-latency trading applications
• Build automation to manage and improve the production trading environment
• Coordinate changes and manage incidents with risk management and trading teams
• Manage and assess operational risk for production change control
• Define and document processes and procedures

Requirements

• Major in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field
• Experience with Linux or UNIX operating systems, advanced commands, and shell scripts
• Practical working knowledge of Python
• Understanding of routing, multicast, and Ethernet
• Rigorous and detail-oriented approach to operations
• Ability to operate and communicate clearly under pressure
• Reliable and predictable availability
