Performs Echocardiogram procedures through the operation of diagnostic equipment, assists physicians in performing more specialized procedures, monitors quality control procedures, and assists in scheduling patients and record keeping. Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgement, with ingenuity and initiative on a patient population including neonates, pediatric, young adult, adult, and elderly patients.
Qualifications
- Demonstrates working knowledge of echo-contrast and stress echocardiography
- Echocardiography Technologist Certification/ Licensure
- Strict adherence to HIPAA laws
- Must be flexible to scheduling change
