Care Engineer

Summary

Provides 24/7 advanced technical support for cloud-based telecom systems, diagnosing complex issues in Kubernetes/OpenShift environments and coordinating with R&D to resolve customer problems.


As a Care Engineer, you will extend advanced technical and product support within care service delivery. In this global & 24x7 support environment, you will handle complex troubleshooting cases, particularly at the solution and system level. You will diagnose issues, work with internal teams, and work closely with R&D to escalate and resolve customer problems.

With your passion for solving demanding situations/problems, and experience in a customer-facing cloud technology environment, you will focus on delivering an excellent customer support experience while constantly seeking ways to automate and simplify processes in a fast-paced setting.

  • Perform initial diagnosis of incidents and apply existing knowledge to find solutions.
  • Collect logs, conduct health checks, and facilitate troubleshooting sessions between customers and L3 teams.
  • Ensure seamless service delivery and continuous performance improvement.
  • Participation: Join weekly case review meetings with Market and L3 teams to track progress and enhance resolution efficiency.
  • Extend 24x7 critical incident support.
  • Operate within the NAM time zone.
  • Oversee and drive the entire delivery-to-care process.

You have:

  • 8+ years of experience in technical care and Kubernetes development, with a Bachelor's or equivalent degree.
  • Practical experience in Kubernetes/OpenShift development, testing/support, or CNF support and deployment, or OpenStack support, development/testing.
  • Advanced (Level-3) expertise on Linux.
  • Worked in the NAM time zone or supported the NAM customer.

Nice to have:

  • English language proficiency.
  • Basic (Level-2) networking expertise will be a plus.
