Carpentry Worker

About the Position: This position involves performing a variety of carpentry work, including the construction and maintenance of wooden range-related equipment, minor building repair, and fabrication of items such as target frames, signs, and tent frames. The position also includes performing minor repairs on buildings and facilities, some electrical work, and maintenance on small engine equipment.

Perform carpentry work such as construction and maintenance of all wooden range related equipment.

Use a variety of hand and power tools typical of the carpentry trade.

Plan and lay out work in accordance with drawings, sketches, blueprints and own knowledge of construction or repair.

Inspect and perform minor repairs of range areas, training areas and bivouac areas.

Inspect and perform organizational level maintenance on gas powered equipment.
