Cash Application Assistant (Cloud Data Engineer)
Summary
A cloud data engineer at Asticom in Alabang who designs, builds, and maintains ETL/ELT data pipelines and infrastructure on AWS and/or Talend, working with data warehouses and lakehouses. Core stack includes AWS Glue, Lambda, S3, Redshift, Airflow, plus SQL, Python, Spark, and Java.
Salary: ₱80,000 – ₱100,000 per month
Job Roles and Responsibilities
Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of data pipelines and infrastructure using AWS.
Microservices and/or Talend Studio.
Work with data from multiple sources, including data warehouses and lakes.
Troubleshoot and maintain ETL/ELT processes, ensuring data accuracy.
Collaborate with teams for data-related needs, security protocols, and insights.
Contribute to data engineering improvements and process documentation.
Job Qualifications
ETL/Integration Tools: 2 to 5 years of experience with Talend and/or AWS data engineering services
Talend Requirement: Talend experience is preferred but not mandatory; strong AWS-native data
engineering experience is acceptableAWS Services Exposure: Experience with services such as AWS Glue, Lambda, S3, Redshift,
EMR, RDS, Step Functions, Kinesis, and MWAA/AirflowProgramming & Query Languages: Proficiency in SQL, Python, Spark, and Java
Data Platform Experience: Experience working with S3-based Lakehouse architectures, RDS, and
Enterprise Data Warehouse environments
