Center Manager

Objective of the Position: To oversee and coordinate the daily activities of the center, ensuring consistent service delivery, volunteer engagement, and adherence to organizational policies and direction provided by the Women’s Programs Administrator.

Reports to: Women’s Programs Administrator

Supervises: Office Assistants, Client Advocates, and Program Mentors

Status: part-time, hourly non-exempt

Scheduled Hours: Mondays 10:30 am – 6:30 pm / Tuesdays 9:30am – 5:30pm / Thursdays 9:30am – 5:30pm

Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in nursing, management, ministry, or related experience equivalent desired

Skills: Staff & volunteer management, excellent written and verbal communication skills, detail-oriented, organized, proficient in Microsoft Office, and general knowledge of computer systems

  • Be able to provide spiritual leadership, discipleship, and support to volunteers
  • Be able to commute to all centers

Essential functions:

  1. Ensure that prayer is an integral part of the day-to-day operation of the pregnancy center site
  2. Work with supervisors to execute strategic plan objectives to accomplish the ministry goals of the organization
  3. Provide managerial direction for all Client Advocates, Office Assistants, and Program Mentors
  4. Ensure that policies and procedures are followed to provide quality service to clients
  5. Communicate the needs of the center with the Women’s Programs Administrator
  6. Oversee the management of file systems, Ekyros charting, inventories, client follow-up, and other operations
  7. Ensure that the center site is clean and well-maintained
  8. Oversee the data entry of client information
  9. Conduct written and oral evaluations of Office Assistants, Resource Manager (if applicable) & female Client Advocates every year
  10. Coordinate appreciation activities and events for volunteers under the direction of the Women’s Programs Administrator
  11. Inform the Women’s Programs Administrator, Director of Program Strategy, and Executive Director of any problems that could impact the organization as a whole, internally, or publicly
  12. Interview all prospective female Client Advocate volunteers with the Women’s Programs Administrator
  13. Oversee Client Advocates regarding professional telephone manners, scheduling of appointments, reception of clients, intake, follow-up, accurate record keeping, and adherence to the Hope Rising policy and procedures
  14. Ensure adequate coverage for client visits with Client Advocates and Office Assistants
  15. Maintain client appointments in eKyros
  16. Serve as back-up for Client Advocates
  17. Perform pregnancy testing when nurses are not available
  18. Communicate relevant client testimonies to the Director of Partner Development
  19. Oversee budget expenditures
  20. Review monthly statistics to ensure accuracy, completeness, and targeting of strategic goals
  21. Provide monthly written reports (by the 7th of every month) to the Women’s Programs Administrator
  22. Attend and participate in monthly Staff meetings held the second Thursday of the month
  23. Attend and participate in the monthly Women’s Programs meetings
  24. Other duties assigned by the Women’s Programs Administrator

Physical and mental requirements:

  • Visual and auditory accuracy

  • Continuous conversational communication
  • Occasional reaching, walking, squatting, bending, kneeling, twisting, and climbing
  • Frequent use of a personal car

  • Memorize and retain instructions
  • Read and interpret detailed specifications
  • Frequent lifting of 30 lbs. or more

The Center Manager shall receive at least one annual written and oral evaluation by the Women’s Programs Administrator.
