    • Recovery outcome
  • Challenge unsupported technical coverage claims;

  • Support gap prioritisation and risk-acceptance recommendations.

Skills and Expertise

Essential skills and experience

  • Experience in complex banking system testing, migration or test assurance;
  • Strong understanding of system interfaces and cross-system dependencies;
  • Experience with data migration, reconciliation and reference integrity;
  • Experience reviewing test evidence and traceability;
  • Knowledge of batch processing, end-of-day processing and exception handling;
  • Understanding of reruns, duplicate processing, recovery and operational controls;
  • Ability to assess logs, reports, reconciliations, audit trails and runbooks;
  • Ability to translate technical gaps into focused, executable tests;
  • Strong analytical and documentation skills;
  • Fluency in German and English.

Priority domain knowledge

  • Batch and end-of-day processing;
  • System interfaces and data flows;
  • Migration data and reconciliation;
  • Operational recovery and resilience testing;
  • The role does not need to be a software developer, system architect or detailed infrastructure specialist. The key requirement is sound technical test judgement and the ability to determine whether evidence proves the claimed business and operational outcome.
